Danielle Ayers is an experienced social justice advocate. She currently serves as Minister of Social Justice at Friendship West Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas, a 12,000-member house of worship, whose motto is “ Equipping Changed People To Change The World.” Among her many responsibilities, Ayers is charged with helping Friendship West, pastored by the Rev. Dr. Frederick D. Haynes III, to create “communities of opportunities by enlisting churches, community organizations, local, state and national elected and appointed officials, governmental bodies and citizens.”
Using her gifts and talents as Minister of Social Justice, Ayers has organized around legislative movements and advocacy campaigns such as Children’s Health Insurance Plan (CHIP), Jena, LA, The Innocence Project of Texas, rezoning of land use, community development voter participation projects, and many other social justice initiatives. She has a degree from the University of Memphis in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing and is currently working on a Master of Arts in Urban Affairs and Certificate in Non-Profit Management at the University of Texas at Arlington.
